• 1<\/span> lb<\/span> dried pasta<\/span> about 1 box<\/span><\/li>
• 20-25<\/span> shrimp<\/span> peeled and de-veined <\/span><\/li>
• 3-4<\/span> red bell peppers<\/span><\/li>
• 3<\/span> tbsp<\/span> minced garlic<\/span><\/li>
• 1<\/span> tbsp<\/span> olive oil<\/span><\/li>
• 4<\/span> tbsp<\/span> butter<\/span><\/li>
• 2<\/span> tsp<\/span> paprika<\/span><\/li>
• \u00bd<\/span> tbsp<\/span> salt<\/span><\/li>
• 1<\/span> tsp<\/span> garlic powder<\/span><\/li>
• 2<\/span> tsp<\/span> red pepper flakes<\/span> dried<\/span><\/li>
• 2<\/span> tsp<\/span> dried parsley<\/span><\/li>
• 2<\/span> tsp<\/span> dried basil<\/span><\/li>
• \u00bd<\/span> cup<\/span> heavy cream<\/span><\/li>
• 1<\/span> cup<\/span> grated pepper jack cheese<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/div>\n

  Instructions<\/h3>

  • Cut tops off and core bell peppers. Slice in half lengthwise (top to bottom) and place on a nonstick baking sheet, skin side up. Press flat with the palm of your hand so the bottom splits and they\u2019re no longer convex\/curved.<\/div><\/li>
  • Broil on high for 10 minutes, or until the skin has formed black roasted spots.<\/div><\/li>
  • Let sit until cool enough to handle.<\/div><\/li>
  • In the meantime, add butter, paprika, garlic, red pepper flakes, and shrimp to a large skillet or pan. Cook on medium-high heat for 10 minutes, or until shrimp are fully pink.<\/div><\/li>
  • Remove shrimp from the pan and set aside, leaving any remaining butter, spices, and juices in the skillet.<\/div><\/li>
  • Slice roasted bell peppers into strips and add to a food processor or blender with 1 tbsp olive oil. Blitz until relatively smooth.<\/div><\/li>
  • Add red pepper puree to the hot skillet with butter, juices, etc.<\/div><\/li>
  • Add garlic powder, dried parsley, and dried basil. Boil for 10 minutes on medium heat, continuously stirring to avoid burning.<\/div><\/li>
  • Lower heat and add heavy cream and grated cheese, still stirring continuously. Let simmer for 1 minute or until completely combined.<\/div><\/li>
  • Toss pasta, sauce, and shrimp together in a large pot or serving bowl.
