This cookbook features over fifty deliciously original recipes and beautiful accompanying photographs from Em Bennett, crafted with a multi-diet household in mind. Although she herself is vegan, her fiancé (Alex) is not, which brings an extra level of complexity to mealtimes. Almost every recipe in this cookbook can either be made entirely vegan or “family-style”, with both a vegan and omnivore option included in meal itself (see: “sweet chili bang bang [shrimp + tofu]” or “korean bbq tacos [steak + jackfruit]”) for a more diverse dinner.
