a wrong turn on the way to the grocery store makes living out here worth it
excited to start my 30th book of the 2021, the award-winning feel-good fantasy "the house in the cerulean sea" by tj klune. unfortunately, I don't have a hardcover copy, but I'm excited to jump in nonetheless!!
maybe you've heard, but I wrote a cookbook! it features over 50 original recipes and photographs, and every dish can be made either vegan, omnivore, or "half and half" to suit your dietary needs or a "one vegan in the house" lifestyle. visit iforgotsalt.com/cookbook if you'd like to order a copy of your own!
the only present I need under the tree this year
took a bunch of crooked and blurry pictures in the shenandoah national park and natural bridge state park yesterday
it's curry season again! to celebrate, I made vegan japanese curry with deep fried tofu katsu and tonkatsu sauce. yumm!! check it out at iforgotsalt.com. I know I haven't been posting many recipes lately, but once midterms have calmed down I'm hoping to get back in the swing of things with some new vegan dishes. can't wait!
my October reading list, small because I've still got quite a few books coming up for school but filled with some great horror/thrillers I'm excited to read. I've already finished "Home Before Dark" and LOVED it! can't wait to get started on the next one
goodbye summer, see you next year
Chipotle, who? now that the closest Chipotle is all the way across town (six minutes, what a burden) I figured I might as well make their sofritas at home! bruh, I'm never going back. check out these black bean & tofu copycat Chipotle sofritas on my website, iforgotsalt.com
